How to Port Your Skype Number

Before you begin, please ensure that your number is eligible for porting. You can find a full list of supported countries and numbers here.

In the most cases the document requirements for ported numbers are the same as those for connecting new numbers with us.

To port your number from Skype, follow these simple steps:

1. Sign up on our website

In the top right corner of our website, click the "Sign Up" button. You’ll be redirected to a registration form.

By default, a short registration form will appear, where you only need to enter:

• Your name
• Contact mobile phone number
• Email (to use for signing in)
• A password

You also have the option to use the advanced form to provide additional details, such as your address.

If you agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, check the box to confirm and click "Register" to complete the process.

If you already have an account, you can port your number from there. Simply sign in and follow the steps below.

2. Top-Up your account or activate a price plan

You have two options to choose from when porting your Skype number:

1. Top up your account to cover the annual fee for your phone number based on our rates. For example, if you want to port a U.S. mobile number, the monthly fee when paid annually is $3. This means you would need to add $36 to your balance.
   No need to activate a virtual number - just top up your account and keep the funds in your balance.
2. Activate a monthly price plan (or a yearly one if you prefer).

For example, to port a U.S. mobile number, you can activate the Office USA/Canada plan. This plan includes four phone numbers from the U.S. and/or Canada, allowing you to port up to four numbers by simply activating this plan. Additionally, this plan offers unlimited calls to these countries.

3. Open the Ticket

From your account, go to "Help" - "Support Ticket", then click "Create a Ticket".

1. Select "Technical Support" and enter the phone number(s) you wish to port in an international format in the ticket subject (e.g., I would like to port the number +1XXXXXXXXXX).
2. In the message body, state that you want to port your number(s), provide the full number(s), and include any other relevant details.
3. Attach your Skype invoice (also, called skype_monthly_statement, usually in .pdf format) showing your name and address.
4. Submit the ticket.
