How to turn on the voice menu?
There are two ways to turn on the voice menu:
- In the PBX Wizard (the voice menu launches once the PBX is created)
- In the «Incoming calls and IVR» section of the personal profile
In the "Incoming Calls and IVR" section, you can create, view, and modify the settings for all voice menus and scenarios of the PBX. Each menu has its own scenarios, which are displayed on the voice menu tab, as well as a separate greeting and working hours.
Voice greeting - a file that plays to the client before connecting them to the scenario. You can upload your file (mp3, wav, up to 5 MB) or create a file by entering text for a robot read.
During the greeting, the client can dial an extension (e.g., 155) to connect directly with that employee.
Please note: if you plan to use a greeting with hold music, you need to upload a separate file for the greeting alone in this section. The hold music can be uploaded in the section below, titled "Hold music instead of beeps"
Additionally, the greeting can provide information about the options available in the voice menu (IVR).
File size limits for upload: up to 5 MB. Acceptable formats: MP3, WAV.
Working hours - in this section, you can set the working days and hours for the selected voice menu. Lunch breaks can be specified separately.
You can also configure a holiday calendar or use a pre-existing one by selecting the country from the list.
By default, all calls are received by the "Main Menu," in the "Without pushing" scenario. In the menu settings or the selected scenario, you can enable the "Trigger when" options:
- "Calls to numbers": The list displays virtual numbers that are connected to the PBX but are not assigned to a specific menu or scenario.
- "Calls from numbers": You need to enter the number in international format (e.g., +447717111111) or a number mask (e.g., +447717*) for calls that will be directed immediately to the selected menu/scenario.
General settings for all menus:
"Hold music instead of beeps" - The file uploaded here starts playing after the entire greeting file has been played. Additionally, this file will play when placing the client on hold.
File size limits for upload: up to 5 MB. Acceptable formats: MP3, WAV.
Cyclic Redial" - when this option is enabled, the incoming call will continuously redial the scenario until the call is either terminated by the client or answered by an employee.
"Missed call notifications" - when enabled, if a call comes into the PBX and is not answered by any employee for any reason, the system will send a notification about the missed call.
By default, the notification is sent only to the registration email.
You can configure additional recipients (Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Slack, or an additional email) in the section "Settings - My Profile - Notifications".
"General blacklist" - when this option is enabled, spam call blocking will be based on a general database of numbers from all users.
