Dialing format
By default, the account applies the local dialing rules of the country indicated in the "Settings - My Profile" section.
You can enable/disable local dialing in the "Settings - My Profile - Calls" section, using the "Call without country code" option.
For example: the country indicated in the account is the USA.
To call numbers in the USA, you need to dial the number starting with a local code, for example 415, or +1, 415 555 2671 or +1415 555 2671.
To call numbers in other countries, you need to dial the numbers starting with the international access code 011 or +.
For example, to call the number 442045770077, you need to dial 011442045770077 or +442045770077.
You can also set dialing rules within the cloud PBX. After creating the PBX, go to the "My PBX - Outgoing Calls" section, tab "Prefixes and Codes" . You can select predefined prefix rules from the list on the right, or create your own.
- Country prefix — specify the prefix of the country that will be used when making outgoing calls from the PBX, without dialing prefixes or in the local format.
- City prefix — specify the city code that will be added when dialing without prefixes, in the local format.
- International access code — the prefix will be removed and only the specified digits will be dialed.
- Intercity access code — a prefix that, when used, the system will replace with the "country prefix + city prefix" indicated above.
For example, dialing prefixes are specified for calls to a number in New York:
Country code: 1
City code: 646
International access code: 011
Intercity access: 646
To call a number in New York (for example +16461111111), you need to dial 1111111 or 6461111111
For calls to numbers in other cities in the USA, dial (city code)(phone number), for example 6821111111.
To call numbers in other countries, you need to dial the number starting with the prefix 011 or in the international format, with a plus sign.
For example, to call a number in Spain 34611111111, you need to dial the number in the format 01134611111111 or +34611111111.
If both dialing prefix and local dialing are used at the same time, the PBX dialing prefix conditions will apply for calls from the PBX.
